In my novel EUROPA Part 1 – Dreams; our protagonist Sarah, shares an extraordinary soul mate connection with Commodore Adrian Reese. The chemistry between the two is so strong that – as Adrian himself mentions - had he met Sarah on the day of his wedding to his first wife; he could never have gone through with the wedding. Although, this is essentially a Sci fi/ Fantasy novel. The theme of soulmates runs throughout EUROPA Dreams; indeed, in this the first instalment "Dreams"; it is due to our protagonist Sarah's relationship with Commodore Reese, that we are able to see and learn all about the many extraordinary events that befalls the colonist. Initially used to introduce the main characters and show connections between them; this major theme is also developed in the later novels. Veritably, it is the way this strong connection between the soulmates first manifests itself, that gives this first novel in this trilogy its name.
